With over 16 years of photography experience, I can only make miracles happen in photoshop that will simply make you look your best. When you look your best and you feel your best you get a new found confident to take on the world with gratitude. Unfortunately, there are certain types of retouching that we can not fake, hair and good natural makeup. Simply having a great Hair and Makeup artist on set elevates all that is impossible. Beautiful make and hair transcends the spirit and essence of the final image. It is a blessing for me when a client invests into a hair and make up artist. It makes my job enjoyable because the client is taking the session serious like a professional actor or business person who inevitably want to do well and succeed.

HOW WE RETOUCH

POLISHED + PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL IMAGES

In this digital photography age, taking the photos is only half of the process; the second half of the process is post-production where we, as photographers, create the final signature look of the images that we deliver to you, our clients.

While the combination of professional makeup, hair styling and lighting helps to create a polished attractive look, digital images are so mercilessly sharp that even the smallest flaws are not only viewable but also emphasized. It is our policy to provide only the highest quality and professional digital images – images that you are not only proud of but can not wait to share across all your visual marketing platforms – so we will retouch every high-res digital file that leaves our studio, presenting you in the most polished and professional way possible.

WHAT IS RETOUCHING?

Retouching means that your selected photos are processed for correct color, tone, and contrast in Capture One while tether shooting, and then they are retouched in PHOTOSHOP (image editing software), by myself or a member of Brosnan Headshots retouch team. Each photo is meticulously worked on. Every tiny detail is assessed; if it’s distracting is removed. Temporary blemishes, strayed eyebrows, baby hairs, etc, are all dealt with so the focus remains on you. All images are optimised for brightness, colour and contrast so that each final photo is a clean, natural and well-rested version of yourself.

PRICING

ONE: STANDARD HEADSHOT RETOUCHING (£35 PER FILE)

This is the basic professional level retouch that all headshots and portraits receive and includes all the obvious areas, retouch for faces, skin, hair, eyes, and teeth. Clients are allowed one revision request, should one or all of their files need more work. Any requests beyond this would be invoiced accordingly, starting at a minimum of £35 per file.

Brightening the Eyes and Removing Redness
Teeth Lightening and Minor Repairs
Skin Softening
Reduce Shine on Skin
Removing Stray Hairs

LEVEL TWO: SPECIALTY RETOUCHING (£50/Hour + PER FILE)

This is a more customized level of retouch and includes all the basic plus special requests for, face or body shaping, facial contouring, changing the color of clothes, fixing wrinkles in clothing etc…. Clients are allowed one revision request, should one or all of their files need more work. Any requests beyond this would be invoiced accordingly. Fees start at £50/hour extra per file.

Detailed Cosmetic Alterations (Slimming of the figure etc.)

LEVEL THREE: RETOUCH AND COMPOSITES (BY CUSTOM QUOTE ONLY)

This is a very customized retouch for artistic and creative portraits where a background needs to be changed out and there other composited elements may be employed. The cost is based on the level of what needs to be done and an estimate is provided.
